Welcome to the Yoga of Connection online class and community.

Weekly Emails

You will receive one email a week from me, containing an idea or reflection, and a practice suggestion.

I encourage you to reply to this email with your reflections, reactions, questions, and practice experiences. I will respond personally and may also include these comments, or respond to them, in the next week's email (without identifying the author). You can also respond online, on the class discussion board, to make your comments available to everyone in the community.

Online Content

Our class and community web site is:

http://www.openmindbody.com/2006emailclass/index.htm

To access this web site, you will need to enter the following:

Login name: yoga

Password: connect

From this page, you can access the current week's email, an archive of previous emails, and the online discussion boards. The archives of the class emails will remain online throughout 2006 and afterwards. You do not need to "keep up", and you can return to previous week's emails anytime.

Occasionally, I will post other materials (such as audio guided meditations) to the web site that are not sent out with the weekly email.

Online Discussion Board

The online discussion board is also password protected (login: yoga, password: connect), so the general public should not be able to read or post to it.

Last year's discussion board was such a supportive place, full of surprisingly honest and intimate reflections, as well as genuine mutual respect. It was truly the kindest online community I have ever seen or participated in. I hope that we can create the same spirit of community here. Especially given the theme of this year's class!

To use the discussion board, you need to create an account. Please do so now, and introduce yourself on the discussion board! Our yoga of connection will start with allowing yourself to be seen, heard, and known - and getting to know others on this journey.

Community

Last year's class was relatively small (about 100 participants) but very diverse. This year, the class is still building, and we already have participants from around the U.S., Canada, and Australia. Thank you for joining us!
